The following is an attempt to answer another salient question that some have asked concerning this blessed subject.

Question 3:

What is the relationship between the word of righteousness, the word of Christ and the word of God (Heb. 5:13, Col. 3:16, Heb. 4:12)?

Answer: 

The word of righteousness is the hinge upon which the ministry of revelation (that reveals God’s righteousness) swings (2Cor. 3:9, Rom. 1:16-17). 

While swinging to and fro, it firstly exposes us to the the word of Christ; the word (enlightenment/empowerment) that would cause Christ to dwell in our hearts; even as we become rooted and ground in His Faith; the Faith that overcomes the world (Eph. 3:17, Acts 26:18, 1Jn. 5:4). This knowledge (of the truth in Christ) turns us to a place where we have the growth (grace) needed to comprehend the actual word of God (2Pet. 3:18, Heb. 4:12).

The word of righteousness begins by revealing a life called Christ, whom alone God can entrust with His glory; with the fullness of His life (eternal life). The word of Christ is the the word that should dwell in a believer and enable him to disobey the fleshy wisdom of this world, like Jesus did until He became the Christ (Col. 3:16, 2 Cor. 1:12).

As such, the word of Christ is an integral part of the word of righteousness because it prepares our soul for God or for seasons where the formation of Christ (in us) would enable us comprehend the things of God (perfection), and be glorified (Rom. 10:17, Heb. 5:13-6:1. Rom. 8:30).

So, the word of Christ is an allocation that sanctifies or separates us from this world (sin); until Christ is formed in us, while the word of God is the allocation that will bring that formation called Christ, into God or into perfection; into the fullness of our inheritance kept in the New Testament – I.e. eternal life (Acts 26:18e, 1Jn. 1:1-3).

The Word of Christ and the Word of God are the two allocations of doctrine in the New Testament – that the word of righteousness skillfully reveals (Heb. 5:13). The former prepares us to receive Christ, while the latter prepares us to receive God; even eternal life (Eph. 3:17, Jn. 14:21/23).
