Counsels From The Word of Righteousness (Part 18).

Dearly Beloved,

The following are inspired thoughts around ministrations the Lord has rained our way over many years; that attempt to highlight the essence or some dividends of the feasts (of Charity) that births a new man called Christ.

1. Faith, hope and Charity are seasons of enlightenment in Christ; seasons where worldly sins in the soul are forgiven or remitted (1 Cor. 13:13, Acts 26:18, 2 Pet. 1:5-7). They are the trimester in Christ where we build resistance against the spiritual flu we catch whenever we take thoughts for our life or take thoughts that are at the expense of what God’s righteousness is revealing (Acts 20:32, Matt. 6:33-34).

2. As we keep the feast of Charity or journey deeper into Christ, our acquisition of the life called Christ would constantly be put to test and revealed via our ability to remain in faith – when another party is doing otherwise or tempting us to do so (Jude 1:12a, 2Pet. 1:5-7).

3. In Christ Jesus is a strata of meekness that we can gradually attain as we walk or grow through one spiritual lesson of faith to another; from faith, through virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness to Charity (1 Tim. 1:5, 2 Pet. 1:5-7). As we adventure these commandments for living by God’s power, we acknowledge the truth that is after godliness or that makes us godly (Tit. 1:2/2:12). We fetch divine strength to do what Christ once did daily: continually bear, believe, hope and endure all things that would lead us into the Fatherhood of God (1 Cor. 13:5-7).

4. What flows out of God’s righteousness are instructions for living like we never did before it came our way or before the word of Christ found an abode in our hearts (Rom. 1:17/10:10, 2 Tim. 3:16, Col. 3:16). The Lord is presently raising many servants of righteousness in the Church; those whose first goal in life is to become priests; even kings of Righteousness and peace (Mal. 2:5-7, Rom. 6:12-14/14:16-18). Those who – in the face of divers lusts – strive to daily defend the conversations of the gospel of Christ or who daily live by the empowerment called faith, virtue, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness and Charity (2 Pet. 1:5-7).

5. There are thoughts that originate from sin; that tell us we can’t be free from sin or come over this world (Col. 2:8, 2 Cor. 10:5c). And there are highly matured thoughts or images that originate from the corridors of iniquity and death; that tell us we can’t end up looking like the Son of God or attain a height in God where we would lose the ability to love our life (2 Cor. 10:5a-b, Rev. 12:11). The Father is therefore giving this generation of believers the honor of surmounting these enemies; even as His servants declassify to us – the mystery of Christ, and of the Father, and of God (Lk. 1:71-74, Col. 2:2).

6. Separation from sin or freedom from this world begins and appreciates as we acknowledge a body of truth called Christ; as we adventure the truths in Christ that can bring our soul into life and peace; or as we discern the truth that can make our soul godly enough to deny all ungodliness and lusts that originate from this world (Mal. 2:5-6, Tit. 1:2/2:12, 2 Pet. 1:3-7). What guarantees this separation is the gospel of Christ; the revelations that render sin (i.e. this world) naked; that exposes how it secured our love and trust, how we can break our covenant with it and enter seasons of cutting covenants with the Lord (Rom. 1:16, Isa. 28:18, 2 Cor. 6:14-18).

7. There are more self-imprisoned prisoners of unforgiveness than prisoners in government prisons around the world. There are more men who are unwilling to forgive others like the Lord commands us to, or who are unwilling to forgive themselves of their past – than those who have; and believers have thereby limited themselves from experiencing the forgiveness (or remission) of sins (Matt. 6:9-12, Eph. 1:7). What keeps many believers imprisoned in unforgiveness and bitterness are legitimate-looking arguments or thoughts that are better undressed while keeping faith with the feasts of Christ that empowers us to undress and arrest thoughts that are contrary to Christ (2 Pet. 1:5-7, 2 Cor. 10:5c).
