Dearly Beloved,
The following is another attempt to use the goggle of Faith to weigh and filter various thoughts from conversations under the sun, on another blessed day. Gracious Reading!
1. When the Lord is saying, “you can still become all I have called you to be despite your inadequacies, soul infirmities, past blunders and failures”, He is inviting you to learn His righteousness, and thereby fight the same unbelief that showed up at Eden, after Satan spoke to Eve and questioned God’s promise.
2. The most fruitful hours of trying times are times when we are at peace with what the Lord wants to teach, give or take from us at such seasons. When we lack this understanding, our trials, like those the Israelis encountered, would last longer than they ought to.
3. There is hardly anything anyone can do to slow down the pace at which technology is advancing. In like manner, there is nothing anyone can do to stop the technology of God’s life, as revealed through His Son’s faith, from covering the earth. Every attempt to fight it would cause it to multiply, because it’s a throne-backed, third-day emphasis of the Spirit for the true Church. (Hab. 2:14).
4. One prove that we have profited by the power kept in the gospel—is that; thoughts that used to unduly earn our attention or daily meditation, and things that used to trouble the peace of our hearts—would cease to do so (Rom. 1:16-17, Isa. 26:3/32:17).
5. When the peace kept in the gospel becomes the inheritance we seek, ownership of the power kept in the gospel of Christ would become inevitable. We would count as loss those things that previously limited us from walking worthy of the gospel, and we would develop a new value system that revolves around loving God’s thoughts (righteousness) (1Pet. 3:11, Eph. 4:1-2, Ps. 17:15/91:14).
6. If you can’t discern or celebrate the grace of God upon fellow believers or ministers who have gone ahead of you in things of the Spirit, you can’t claim to be at peace with yourself. So also, if you still love the world after the Lord’s effort to deliver you from it, you can’t claim to have been fathered by God (Gal. 2:9, Acts 18:26, 1Jn. 2:15, 2Cor. 6:17-18).
7. We can bear unnecessary cares, burdens and weights that we have no business with, not knowing how detrimental they are to our placement in time, in eternity and in God, and not knowing that the sources of them all are expectations not born out of righteousness; even thoughts and imaginations born outside the revelations of righteousness.
8. You can be busy with many things, and yet harness very limited salvation into your soul over seasons/years. You can be busy with one thing, with the leading of the Spirit that always produces sons; busy hearing and walking like Mary Magdalene, Abraham, Moses, David, and yet harness so much salvation into your soul. (Lk. 10:41-42, Rom. 8:14).
9. One inheritance we all received from the first Adam was a nature that limits men from being at peace with themselves and with others. And one inheritance made available by the last Adam; Christ Jesus, is an empowerment that should see us dwell at peace with all men – including ourselves. (Isa. 32:16-18, Heb. 12:14).
10. The most beautiful and tangible experience the soul of man can have on earth is an adventure of the life being offered by the Christian faith – when sought in its truest and purest form. Through it, souls can feast to a place where they are truly prosperous and healthy, where they can inherit righteousness, peace and joy, and therefore live differently from all other men.
Blessings!
