Looking Inward & Outward (With the goggle of Faith) – Part 4

1. Like David, Solomon, Paul etc., one way to witness against our former fleshy conversations and to address our indebtedness to the younger generation is by cautioning them on where and how we got things wrong, so they don’t repeat that history in view of an increase in light over their generation (Psa. 51, 2Tim 1:5).
2. Nothing competes with the cross of Christ in us like our human strength! We trust and glory in it and the Lord in mercy has to deal with it by sometimes doing nothing concerning our pressing physical or spiritual need, so we can be constrained to learn and trust in the strength of His grace.
3. Nothing makes us independent of God’s grace like our dependence on our human strength, abilities or cerebral minds (Prov. 3:5-7). And nothing displeases the Lord or leaves us carnally minded like continually putting the dictates of our natural mind ahead of the witness of our spirit (Rom. 8: 6-8).
4. One everlasting thanksgiving that would be offered by those who would sit on God’s throne, is concerning the mercy, grace and wisdom they found, that made them utterly commit to the central subject of the Bible – and led to the Salvation of their souls (2Tim. 3:15, Jn. 17:3, 1Pet. 1:9).
5. A healthy heart is one like that of the Lord; that always has love to offer to everyone on every occasion, including betrayers who become instrumental to their overcoming the devil. The Lord always checks our heart, and we also should (1Cor. 13:31, Rev. 2:23).
6. When we assume we are spiritually enlightened or we are living strictly by the light of Christ’s Faith when we aren’t, we have been empowered to love our lives, keep it and despise the offer of Christ’s Life; even His Divine Power (2Pet. 1:3). When we do otherwise, we are true students of His Faith and would soon be empowered against sin, and also go against it in the lives of others.
7. The expectation of the corporate world is that you live morally and carnally, and so when you scarcely live in the Spirit, you would be perceived by others and by yourself as a one-eyed king in the country of the blind.
8. One thing the Faith of the Son does, is that, it gradually exposes and enlightens us to see every iota of our unknown love of this world and for the things of this world, leaving us with a choice to hate and overcome it. By it, we are prepared to live supernaturally and without it, we would continue to live carnally (Gal. 2:20/Acts 26:18e/Jude 1:3d/Heb. 12:2/Rom. 1:17/16:26d/1Tim. 1:4-5/6:12/1Jn. 5:4)
9. There is no way a believing believer can look for eternal salvation (The Father) without loving The Faith that is in Christ (the Son), and there is no way this faith can be harnessed without the leading of the Spirit (Tit. 2:13/Heb. 9:28/2Pet. 3:13/Rev. 2:4-7)
10. A meek man is one who has been led through seasons and has been taught not to judge, do or say anything of his own, but rather, to constantly live by the strength of God’s grace. They are rear in each generation: are highly despised by those whom God sends them to, and are the true kings of the earth (Num. 12:3/Matt. 5:5/11:29).
