… AN APPRAISAL ON THE BLESSINGS OF THE DAY IN CHRIST
Dearly Beloved,
Blessed was that day, when a measure of light came our way that said we have been raised and caused to sit with Christ (in our spirit – Eph. 2:1a/5-6), and blessed is the day when a greater measure of light comes our way that tells us that our soul is yet to become a man in Christ; seated with Christ Jesus (2Cor. 5:17/2Cor. 12:2-4/Rev. 3:21)
Blessed is that day, when a believer realizes he is yet to overcome the world (1Jn. 5:4) or the god of this world (Jn. 14:30/Rev. 3:5/12/21) because he is yet to complete the syllabus of divine life by being born of Christ’s Faith (i.e. believing that Jesus is The Christ – Jn. 1:11-12/Heb. 11:6/1Jn. 5:1a/4a/18a) and also by being born of God’s Love (i.e. loving Him that beget Christ Jesus– 1Jn. 1:2-3/4:15-16/5:1b/18b-c)
- 1Jn. 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God (i.e. of Christ’s Faith – 1Jn. 5:1a) sinneth not (i.e. has the antidote to sin/escapes this world’s pollution – Isa. 4:2/2Pet. 2:20); but he that is begotten of God (i.e. of God’s Love – 1Jn. 5:18b-c) keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not (i.e. such a one has a resurrected soul or has the antidote to both sin and death {corruption} or has partaken of divine nature – 2Pet. 1:4/Rev. 12:11/19:10d/22:9c).
- 1Pet. 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God (i.e. the seed of Faith and Love that empowers and quickens the soul – Heb. 4:12), which liveth (i.e. guarantees victory of the world/sin) and abideth (i.e. guarantees full victory over sin and death – 1Cor. 15:55-56/2Tim. 1:10/Rev. 12:11) forever.
Blessed is that day, when we realize that we were made a man outside Christ (Jn. 1:13a-d/1Cor. 15:50) by various legitimate-looking conversations which we had or still have with the world; which came via the unrighteous influences of our background, our upbringing and our life experiences (Eph. 2:2/4:22/Phil. 3:4-6). Blessed are we, if we can faithfully take the daily prescriptions of Col. 3:10-16/Eph. 4:20-24 – the conversations of the new man that empowers us to put off that old conversation (walk).
Blessed is that day, when we are humble and wise enough to see trials and tribulations as God’s provisions to help us disown our former inheritance; the nature of sin that limits us from inheriting God’s nature. Blessed is that day when we begin to trade what we once held and/or still hold at the expense of Christ (i.e. the world/the present life), for what we need to own and hold at the expense of things that perish with the use (i.e. Faith/things to come) – so that things we seek would gradually start seeking us (Matt. 6:31-34)
Blessed is that day, when the eyes of our hearts is open to see that our greatest enemies aren’t mortal men (i.e. flesh and blood); rather they are the presence of the laws of corruption in men’s souls (Rom. 8:2); laws from an angel higher than the present earth who fell by lusting after divine life and immortality (Isa. 14:14b/Eze. 28:14-17), and has since used the law of sin and death to steal strength/deceive all men (Isa. 14:12e/Jn.10:10a-d/Rom. 5:6a/Rev. 12:9e), save those who learnt and lived by the laws of Faith and Love in God.
Blessed is that day, when we have been made willing and obedient enough to acknowledge that the life of dominion which Christ offered believing believers comes sandwiched with reproaches through which God crumbles our unseen pride and our independence spirit; so we can eat the good of an invaluable land/city/inheritance called God (Isa. 1:19/Gen. 17:8/Josh. 13:33/Num. 18:20/ Heb. 11:16)
Blessed is that day, when we can humble ourselves and fight our unwillingness to learn what God wrought in Christ on our behalf by sitting under the tutorials of the first appearances of grace (Tit. 2:11-12/2Tim. 4:8/Heb. 9:26/Jn. 14:21/Rev. 3:8d-e) that promises to end every worldly affinity in us. Blessed is that day, when we would have kept faith with this commandment (1Jn. 2:15-16) and be counted worthy by the Lord to entertain his further appearances that saves to the uttermost (1Pet. 1:13/Heb. 7:25/Tit. 2:13/1Tim. 6:14/2Tim. 2:10/Heb. 9:28/10:37/1Pet. 1:5/Rev. 3:11)
Blessed is that day, when a biblically vast believer with a unique experience of God’s anointing, becomes a prisoner of Faith (i.e. a minister of Christ/God’s Righteousness – Eph. 3:1/Phil. 3:7-9), but yet can acknowledge like Paul (amongst other servants of his day) that he needs to become a full prisoner of love (i.e. of God – Phil. 3:10-14/1Jn. 1:2-3)
Conflicting definitions of blessings littering the earth has caused many believers to lose touch with the true definition of blessing which was only revealed in the New Testament. We were added to the church/saved (Acts 2:47/13:48) – for one purpose – to be fully saved which is to inherit eternal life or to have the Father and Son or to be truly blessed.
- Acts 2:47 Praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as (whose soul) should be saved.
- Acts 13:48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life (i.e. to inherit the Father and Son through their doctrine of Faith and Love – Jn. 17:3/14:23/Isa. 28:9b/2Jn. 1:9) believed.
Does “our doctrine” disagree with “this doctrine”? Does our conversation/spiritual exposure disagree with that of the Faith and Love revealed only in the New Testament? Mercy oh Lord!
Blessings!
