A Closer Look @ The Man In Christ – Part 3

… An Appraisal on the diagnosis, prescription and healing for soulish infirmities

Dearly Beloved,

Nobody likes to be told by a doctor he has a certain sickness or disease of the body – especially incurable diseases, but that is a package that generations of men have received through every bloodline traceable to man’s fall. Sickness are better diagnosed and treated on time, and by a competent doctor, and the same is the case with the sicknesses, sins or diseases of the soul – the infirmities of the heart/mind. It is better diagnosed and treated on time, and by a competent priest of the New Testament on whose lips resides God’s knowledge (Mal. 2:7/Lev. 10:11/Matt. 28:19)

I recall reading of a child in the mid 50’s who had 26 major diseases; he was blind, deaf, crippled, deformed and had a clubbed feet among others. The doctors promised him that he won’t see his first birthday but by the age of four he was fortunate to encounter a man who was heavily anointed with the gifts of the Spirit (A.A. Allen), and was totally total healed – in his body.

Two questions now arises. How many diseases can the soul of man simultaneously house if the body can simultaneously house 26 major diseases? When and how would that young boy start treating the diagonized or “undiagonized” sicknesses of his soul?  If believers can answer these questions – and do that on time, a church without spots, wrinkles and blemishes would be born, and we would hasten the summoning of the new heaven and earth.

The Sins of the soul are the sicknesses, infirmities or diseases of the soul (Ps. 103:1-3), and the cure for them all have been kept in the epistles of the New Testament! Sins to operate under darkness with the goal of increasing the gulf/separation between God and man – a phenomenon called spiritual death (Rom. 5:21). In everyman’s lifetime, sin either gets “diagonized and untreated” when a believer keeps trafficking with darkness; THE POWER OF SATAN (Acts 26:18/Jn. 3:19), or gets “diagonized and treated” when a believer comes across a scarce prescription in the body of Christ called THE POWER OF GOD (Acts 26:18/Rom. 1:16/1Cor. 1:18/1Pet. 1:5)

So our Lord Jesus was addressing a large chunk of the diseases of the soul when he appeared severally to Paul and placed him on several dosages of eye opening light (illuminations) that gradually healed his soul of his previous soul diseases (1Tim. 1:13/Phil. 3:6). Paul would in turn write out all the diagonises and prescriptions for all diseases that our souls fetched from Egypt (the world) and issue out transgenerational prescriptions to all nations in two-third of the New Testament. Those prescriptions are the commandment issued out to all nations (souls) to obey Christ edition of Faith (Rom. 16:25-26)

These prescriptions are the light/illumination of Christ, the power of God with which he defeated the devil in Matt. 4/Lk. 4, and it promises to correct and heal every spot, wrinkles and blemishes of our souls that we fetched from our former conversation – our wrong background, upbringing and experiences in life (Eph. 2:2/4:22). The end of this process (the walk through the Holy Place) is what causes Christ to be formed in a believer – so that he/she can ultimately appear before God (the ultimate rest of the Most Holy Place)

• Eph. 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
  

God remains more concerned than we are about the healing of our bodies. He endowed various anointings upon men in the early church and till date, and this generation is meant to witness an unprecedented move of the Spirit where the gifts of the Spirits would come alive beyond what we saw in the mid 90’s through the called God’s generals! But before them, God wants to raise fishers of men (Matt. 4:19/Jn. 8:/1tim. 4:16/Jn. 8:32); men who have been made true by truth, saviors that would mount Zion and turn many souls to righteousness (Dan. 12:3). They are the priests with an unseen cassock (Rev. 3:18c/19:8), men of stature in God like the early apostles who would go beyong (Heb. 6:1b/3) healing the outward man (i.e. the giving of fishes/miracles) and heal to inward man by making it (the soul) an abode for Christ (Eph. 3:17/Jn. 14:23)

One of the sickness of the soul that God is confronting through such kingly priests is fear – the fear of death; the fear of not losing what the world calls “our life” that makes believers and pastors remain impoverished before God. Fear is what empowers men to keep the life they are meant to lose/hate (Jn. 12:24-25), leaving them without their actual life/blessings – that has been hid in heavenly places in Christ (Eph. 1:3/Col. 3:3). God is therefore raising priests of the New Testament who would feed men above their fears (Jer. 23:2-4/3:15) with THE KNOWLEDGE OF CHRIST (Col. 1:9) and thereby lead them to THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD (Col. 1:10).

So the prescription for all the sicknesses and diseases of the soul is knowledge; not any kind of knowledge but THE KNOWLEDGE OF TRUTH (1Tim. 2:4) or THE KNOWLEDGE OF SALVATION (Lk. 1:77) or THE LAW OF TRUTH (Mal. 2:5-6/Jam. 1:25), which also is THE INCORRUPTIBLE WORD OR SEED (1Pet. 1:23) that SAVES THE SOUL (Jam. 1:21/1Pet. 1:23). As we hear the word of God concerning His Son’s Faith/doctrine (i.e. Christ’s Gospel/Power/Lifestyle), we are endowed with the substances of that Faith called righteousness, which would find new ownership with and in us.

Our Lord Jesus is the high priest of the profession of faith because it is via His Faith that arrangements we fetched in the course of this world (Eph. 2:2) can be technically driving out, i.e, rudiments/principles of this world, philosophies and vain deceit and traditions of men – which have all arranged by the enemy against our coming into Christ (Col. 2:8).

So blessed be God who through Christ Jesus has blessed the true church with his gifts (Eph. 4:8-13), so that every sickness and diseases of the soul can be diagonized, treated and healed by the leaves of the tree of life (Christ’s Faith/Divine Power), so we can ultimately partake of the fruit of the tree of life (God’s Love/Divine Nature).

Like that four year old boy aforementioned, may we be fortunate enough to come across God’s chosen vessels in the corners of the earth; priests that can handle and sprinkle the blood (Heb. 12:24/1Pet. 1:2/Jn. 6:54-56) by dispensing the laws of the New Testament that resides in the blood of Jesus, Amen.
