Another Look @ The Essence of Sonship – Part 26

… AN APPRAISAL ON INHERITING ALL OF GOD BY DISINHERITING ALL CONTRARY INHERITANCE

Dearly Beloved,

It may interest you to know that a believer with the best intentions and finest of zeal can never of his own accord take the first step of Christ’s Faith into God’s sphere of life. Christ Jesus became the patent of this golden life that has remained unknown to many and was therefore described as “THAT LIFE” (1Jn. 1:1a), but by the preaching of the core of His gospel, the Lord is bringing it home into us so we can own it like Jesus did, and then his apostles who could then describe it like John the Apostle did – “THIS LIFE” (1Jn. 5:11).

How do we achieve this? Simple! By allowing the Lord to measure out a walk to us – by giving us commandments (like he did in Eden) that would limit the encroachment of the world into us, so that our coming to God can be guaranteed. So as long as a believer can’t live on revealed words; i.e. on commandments, the victorious conversations of the world to come (truth) would continue to remain scarce in our day.

• 2TIm. 2:4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
• i.e. the choking cares/affairs of this present life is at home with (is within) men

• 1Jn. 5:11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
• i.e. God’s divine life (His Faith) and God’s divine nature (His Love) was at home with (was within) John the beloved

So a believing believer is simply one who steps aside daily (despises his rights) to give room for the righteousness of Christ Jesus to indwell him, walk in and through him like the Holy Spirit once did in and through Jesus. This process causes us to die to self and guarantees that we can have a daily foretaste of the new creation (i.e. the new heaven and earth) here.

As we learnt the secrets behind Christ’s victorious lifestyle, the Holy Spirit ignites a process that would starve us of the hope of this world and introduce us to his hope (of the gospel). The response of the world is to fight back hard in many ways – via loved ones, our wrong ideologies and mindsets, religious configurations, questions induced by fear of tomorrow, cynical comments, personal/self-interpretation of scriptures,  just to mention a few.

SO WE MUST COME TO TERMS THAT THE WORLD (SIN) IS OUR FIRST RARELY KNOWN ENEMY THAT LIVES WITHIN US AND WITHIN ANYONE THAT HASN’T LOVED WHAT CHRIST LOVED (I.E. GOD’S UNKNOWN JUDGMENTS/RIGHTEOUSNESS). THE WORLD REMAINS ACTIVE IN EVERY MAN THAT HASN’T BEEN CHASTENED LIKE JESUS WAS TO, LOVE THE LIFESTYLE/CONVERSATION THAT’S HIDDEN WITHIN THE FATHER!

The world hates the life that God came to give us in His son, and it fights/limits us from receiving this precious life by using arrangement’s (standards set by men/systems) around us, which includes established norms and everyone who loves the world around us, everyone in whom the world hasn’t been crucified; yeah everyone who hasn’t learnt the lifestyle and conversations of the world to come (truth)

We must also appreciate God’s wisdom is actually at work when we seem not to be engaged in the rat race of the earth, which is a course that all sons of Jesus must disobey. God blesses us with more of his Son’s life during foolish-looking trying seasons where we seem to fall short of walking in the timing of natural/carnal men and of flourishing with the prosperity of grasses (Ps. 103:15-16/Jam. 1:10/1Pet. 1:24). That was the same wisdom at work in Moses and Abraham’s life (among others), when they were being trained to walk according to the timing of kings of the new world; when they were being schooled by God to inherit a contrary hope from that of the present passing world.

Beloved, we live in a dispensation where heaven expects us to measure up to the prophesy concerning becoming the people of God, becoming future citizens who would receive the complete birthing of God the father, God the Son and of God the Spirit in our souls. May we therefore find grace to humble ourselves, seek His face and disinherit all of our former inheritance, Amen.

• 2Chro. 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive (remit) their sin, and will heal their land
• By calling, we are “the people of God”, but we can only actualize and attain it by inheriting/receiving all of God into our land (soul).
