Another Look @ The Essence of Sonship – Part 16

… AN APPRAISAL ON THE ANATOMY OF SIN AND THE RESPONSE OF SONS TO IT

Dearly Beloved,

When the thought of creating man crossed the mind of the Father, Son and Spirit for the first time, a commitment followed that had to be backed with an oath^(A). That commitment was a resolve of the Godhead to give man an access to their life – THEIR FAITH; and also to an abundant measure of their life – THEIR LOVE! Man’s response to this would be to daily keep their commandments^(B) which would guarantee his reign with a higher dominion of truth than that which Adam started out with. Man would also be brought to a place where he can constantly and expressly interpret God^(C).

• Jn. 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life (the Faith of the Son), and that they might have it more abundantly (the Love of God).

Before man fell, God in His Fatherly nature had made a provision that would cater for the interruption that sin as an angelic problem would bring to mankind, and because nothing can successfully stand in the way of truth^(D), sin and death would became the very enmity that man would need to overcome to inherit life and abundant life respectively. God also approved the foolish looking art of preaching the gospel^(E) as the communication tool.

Sin carefully studied God’s proposal to give every man His life and cloned an alternative life that man would see as “good” and also call “his life”^(F). Inherent also in sin was a terrible intelligence that makes men who previously served it, believe they understand sin.

Sin’s resolve to reign kept meeting generations of men who always negotiated God’s demand to keep His commandments. So sin befriended all men and lived from within him as an unknown enemy. It held unto the reins of man’s thoughts and directed his words and deeds. It became the common denominator of all the legitimate issues and cares of life. It became an air-borne communicable disease and the most priced software under the sun that goes viral with each new launch and update. SIN FINALLY POSITIONED ITSELF AS AN ANSWER TO MAN’S SERACH FOR SUCCESS, SOLUTION, DOMINION, PREEMINENCE – JUST TO MENTION A FEW!

So if you ask a million Christians to talk or write about sin, it would amaze you that most explanations and definitions on sin would either be theological/religious or intellectual; it would be traceable to the picture that sin created in the minds of men about itself so that sin remains a mystery to all!^(G)

Sin finally scored a trans-generational goal when it taught men to perennially SEEK GOD FOR THINGS (that perish with the use) at the expense of SEEKING GOD FOR HIS TREASURED LIFE! So when you see a believer always seeking God for legitimate things (i.e. husband, wife, child, job, shelter, clothing, food) with the same energy, time and resources that he or she meant to use in seeking first the kingdom of God and the righteousness of the kingdom, carnality has simply been bred and the issue of inheriting God’s life (Faith) is being treated like Esau did.

• 1Cor. 6:12 All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient (beneficial): all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any
• The perennial seeking of things is governed by a power (darkness) within and the only antidote to yield our strength in seeking first things that carnal Christians/ministries don’t seek – God’s Righteousness!

• Acts 26:18 To open their (believers) eyes, and to turn them (believers) from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto (the power of) God (i.e. the gospel – Rom. 1:16-17), that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
• The revelation (light of faith) that Christ committed to Apostle Paul (the light in the epistles) untangles a believer from darkness fetched by birth, by upbringing and through experiences under the sun

Sin can see every thought that emanates from beneath the sun i.e. the light governing natural men; and whatever sin can sin, sin would use! So to beat sin, the source of our thought life/conversation must emanate from above^(H)  the sun i.e. must be from the light governing the epistles; the light of the Holy Place. Our thought life therefore has to be rewired and brought to a place where the imaginations of our heart are always that of Faith – that of power^(I).

THIS IS HOW SONS WHO DESIRE TO OVERCOME SIN WOULD PREPARE THEIR HEARTS AND MIND TO DELIGHTFULLY KEEP^(J) GOD’S COMMANDMENTS:

• Through Fellowship with the seven persons of the Holy Spirit^(k), our hearts must desire and receive help to vet habits, thoughts, busyness and judgments that doesn’t emanate from above.
• Through the Grace of the Lord Jesus, our hearts would receive the life of Christ Faith to discern the workings of sin that enslaves many via the cares/legitimacies of this present life.
• Through the Love of God, our hearts would receive abundance of God’s Love needed to withstand the wicked one (the devil).

Believers who demystified sin only did so after they were born again again i.e. after they were fathered in their souls^(L), and this was evidenced by their qualitative walk in the Spirit and their obedience to Faith^(M) which brought them into the inseparable love of God^(N).

Seeking God for God demands all our heart, strength and mind. When we do, we would like Jesus, His apostles and few in other generations, gradually receive God in our flesh^(O) by receiving, learning or being taught The Faith of His Son which guarantees our overcoming sin. This would ultimately qualify us to receive, learn or be taught The Father’s Love which guarantees our overcoming death^(P).

• Matt. 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing (cleanse by repeated immersion/being taught or cleansed by the water of the word) them in the name (nature/inheritance) of the Father, and of the (name/nature/inheritance) Son, and of the (name/nature) Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

HITHERTO, THE CHURCH HAS SETTLED FOR, AND DONE EXPLOITS WITH THE NAME OF THE HOLY GHOST WHICH INTRODUCES THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST^(Q) AS SEEN IN THE EARLY BOOK OF ACTS. BUT TO HAVE VICTORY OVER SIN AND DEATH, WE MUST EMBRACE THE NEXT PROVISIONS OF THE NEW TESTAMENT; THE CORE OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST THAT WOULD PERFECT US IN THEIR RESPECTIVE ORDER – THE NAME OF THE SON (HIS FAITH) AND THE NAME OF THE FATHER (HIS LOVE).
