Another Look @ The Essence of Sonship – Part 2


Dearly Beloved,

It may interest you to note that the two trees in the garden of Eden are the two instruments that would raise two kind of sons in these last days(A) – in the last two thousand years of the church age when Jesus would be perfected{B} in his church. So at an alarming rate today, the first two laws governing these trees (The Mystery of Iniquity(C) and The Mystery of Christ’s Faith(D)) are raising two types of sons in the earth, and the last two laws (Death and God’s Love) would ultimately perfect each of these operations.

  • Isa. 61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees (sons) of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
  • Jude 1:10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally (sensually), as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves. 1:11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily. 1:12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees (of unrighteousness) whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; 1:13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.
  • Rom. 5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace (Christ’s faith – Rom. 4:16/Eph. 2:8) reign through righteousness unto eternal life (God’s Love) by Jesus Christ our Lord.

The tree of the knowledge of good and evil has the ability to lead a soul from sin to death(E). The tree of life has the ability to wean(F) a believer from the popular faith in the church today (faith towards God), lead him/her through God’s Faith(G) and also mature him/her in God’s Love.

  • So from the days of Cain and Nimrod, some men exposed themselves to the “good” aspect of that wicked tree until they couldn’t cease from sin(H) and later died in their souls(I).
  • After Jesus earthly ministry, men began to subscribe to the faith demands of the tree of life and pleasured/lived in God’s sight (J), while some of these faith overcomers made it into being fellows of God’s love(K)
  • Heb. 11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises (i.e. none of them received the promise of inheriting God’s fullness because eternal life would only later be revealed in/through Jesus), but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
  • Isa. 7:14-15 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Butter (curds/coagulated concentrated milk – typifying the meat of the word or God’s Faith) and honey (typifying strong meat or God’s Love) shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good (i.e. overcome the tree of good and evil in Gen. 2:17)
  • If Jesus had to eat of butter and honey for him to refuse evil(L) (i.e. corruption/death) and chose good (i.e. God – Matt. 19:17), then everyone that would be a true son in God’s kingdom would do likewise. So the anointed question before our generation is “what actually is butter and honey”?
    • Butter was the first course of growth that caused Jesus to grow in wisdom and stature from the age of 12 to 30 – Lk. 2:52
    • Butter and honey were the meals of God’s throne that gave him that stature of God’s faith (life) and God’s love (immortality) – 2Tim. 1:10
    • Butter was the faith to faith lessons (Rom. 1:17/1Tim. 2:4) that Jesus partook of while he remained subject to his parents (typifying obedience to authority) in his first 30 years.
    • Honey was the last course of the meal of God’s throne that brought him to the place of God’s oath, where he was perfected in the last 3 years of his earthly walk.

SoS. 4:11 prophesied about the conversations of the Lord’s bride that would partake of butter and honey(M). This company of saints would start by tasting of the graciousness(N) of the first meal of God’s Faith which would cause them to grow above all malice, guile, hypocrisies, enving and evil speakings (1Pet. 2:1-3), but they won’t end there. They would journey until they lose the entirety of their lives(O), take Christ’s faith(P) and then journey into God’s fullness where they would be greatly saved(Q),

  • SoS 4:11 Thy lips, O my spouse, drop as the honeycomb: honey and milk are under thy tongue (conversation); and the smell of thy garments is like the smell of Lebanon.
  • 1Pet1:5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith (i.e. from the beginning of the faith of the son) unto salvation (i.e. the end of faith of the son where they would be enabled to operate or live by God’s power; God’s faith – 1Pet. 1:9) ready to be revealed in the last time.
  • 1Jn. 1:9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
  • 2Cor. 13:4 For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he lives by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.
  • Jn. 12:25 He that loves his life (i.e. the promise/knowledge of the tree in Gen. 2:17) shall lose it (his soul); and he that hates his life in this world shall keep it (faith life) unto life eternal (the end of which is Love).

The Lord seems to be again saying to those meant to be believing believers, “What shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world (i.e. the knowledge/promise of the tree in Gen. 2:17), and lose his own soul”?(R)
