Looking Inward & Outward (with the goggle of Faith) – Part 86

Dearly Beloved,

The following is another attempt to use the goggle of Faith to weigh various inspired thoughts, on another blessed day.

1.   The soul of man was created to love; and only needs a good deposit of knowledge or an enticing promise to do so (1Jn. 2:15, Gen. 3:6). While adventuring or lavishing love on a thing, it has to withhold love from another; it has to love (esteem) a thing, while simultaneously hating (despising) the other (Col. 3:1-2, Matt. 6:24, Rev. 2:6). It can keep loving sin until it becomes a man of sin {1Thes. 2:3c} and it can keep loving the faith that is in Christ until it becomes a man of God or a Christ who only seeks after/loves God (Jn. 14:21/23, 2Tim. 6:11-12). While perfecting obedience or disobedience to a course: it can, from being a man of sin, journey to become a son of perdition; and can, from being a perfect man (Christ), journey into Christ’s fulness; a seated son of God (1Thes. 2:3d, Eph. 4:13, Rev. 12:5).

2.   Through the fall of man, definitions of life fetched from what man does for “a living”, have been subtly repositioned to compete with the definision/promise of rest that can only be found in God’s (eternal) life. Today, nothing competes with the acquisition of God’s knowledge like the adventure that other forms of knowledge offer. So, when the light in/called Christ isn’t the source of light that informs our walk/conversation in this world, or if the core enlightenment of our soul is primarily academic, social, polictical or religious in content; then the light govering our soul is called darkness; however useful it is to us and to men. (Acts 26;18b, Eph. 5:14, Matt. 6:23, Jn. 3:19).

3. To receive the life called God, even eternal life, a believer needs to be empowered against his former life or love called sin; and Christ is God’s joker for this. Receiving Him (Christ) takes place by learning His faith/walk (Eph. 4:20, 3:17), which prepare us to become elite of Charity; even those meant to obey/keep the commandments of God, until a son of God (love) is born (1Tim. 1:5a, 1Jn. 5:1). The devil’s joker to stop the first empowerment comes in the person of a beast; a love package called this world and his last joker to stop potential overcomers (of the world) is a tougher beast called “the love of our life”; one that can delay/deny such elite of attaining Christ’s fulness (1Jn. 2:15, Matt. 10:33 Rev. 12:11c).

4.   The Lord in His wisdom and soul-saving grace has a way of using imperfect conditions/seasons and environments to reveal our infirmities to us; our lack of strength and/or might to steadfastly and consistency obey the faith; and to also expose to us the things of man in our hearts; even things that would limit us from receiving the things (grace/riches) of God in Christ Jesus (2Cor. 12:7-10). If only we can cry out to Him for help like David did, our deep seated struggles to keep such commandments, against all odds/unpleasant looking situations, would become avenues that would restore the lost strength of our souls and cause us to access the peace of God (Ps. 40:1-3, Rom. 5:1).

5.   One chief goal and expectation of the gospel of Christ from us is to disarm us of what makes us – like Adam – to seek first our own thing/interest. It seeks to restrain that selfish nature in us that makes us always consider, first of all, “what is in it for me?” rather than (like our Lord Jesus carefully considered) “what is in it for others?” This is a wisdom of the Cross of Christ; this is where the true Christian faith begins and this is how we would end up becoming attractive to God or commending His appearances (Heb. 9:28). This is how the lost eyes/sight/judgment of man can be recovered so that man can see/comprehend/receive the comings of God into his flesh (Lk. 3:5-6, 1Tim. 3:16).

6.   What the Epistles of Paul (among others) are saying, is that: sin, through this world, has ceased to be a mystery and can become a slave to any/everyone who dares to approach the Faith of the epistles, of the Son of God or of God’s elect in the same way men of like passion with us did; even old faithfuls beginning from the apostles of Christ (Rom. 6:1-end). Therefore, any believer or minister who chooses to be passive or indifferent to it would be a victim of (and can’t outsmart) the civilization called sin, which was entertained by man at the expense of his original civilization, packaged in God’s faith and has since been declassified in the Son (Gen. 2:9c, Gal. 2:20).

7.   No man can deny/disown this world or gain entrance into the Kingdom of God without experiencing Spirit-supervised sufferings in his flesh; without journeying from faith to Charity (1Pet. 4:1). By consequently denying our first love (this world), we journey to a place in the spirit where we would be certified by heaven as having (received Christ or) been crucified to the world; to that life/love that wasn’t born of God or from above (Gal. 2:20/6:14, 1Jn. 5:1a). The power (of God) that we fetch while doing so enables us to naturally live righteously, soberly and godly in this present world. We thereby gain Christ and can then engage the profession of looking for or adventuring into God’s life/fullness (Rom. 1:16, Tit. 2:11-13).

8.   When the Son and Father want to comfort believers with themselves or reveal the core of their nature to those due for such gracious experiences; even brethen with the holiness/sanctification of Christ, who are meant to be seeking mercy concerning eternal life, they would increase the activity of revelation/enlightenment upon such lives; even the knowledge of God’s acceptable/perfect will (Heb. 3:1, Jud. 1:21, Rom. 12:2, Col. 1:10c-11). When we expect less than this or would rather have carnal/ephemeral blessings that God can give to aunbelievActAer, then there is something wrong (or undiagnosed) with our heart; which can be safely attended to by a priest of the New Testament (Heb. 3:12, Mal. 2:5-7).

9.   When we disregard the counsel that commands us to seek first the Kingdom and the righteousness of the Kingdom, we would use the same energy, time and resources to seek things eternally inferior; to seek after vain things of another kingdom, which will further keep us away from the Kingdom (Gal. 6:7). Seeking first the Kingdom and its righteousness includes using/investing our time and resources to know the mysteries of the Kingdom; the mystery of Christ, of the Father and of God so we can be free from the world, cease from serving sin and bring the weighty matters/conversations of Faith, Love and Mercy into our flesh. (Col. 2:2, Rom. 6:22, Jud. 1:21).
