… A BRIEF BIOGRAPHY OF SIN (ITS FEARS, LIKES, & DISLIKES)
Dearly Beloved,
It may interest you to note that sin had no genuine respect or fear for Peter the Apostle while he healed the lame man at the beautiful gate (Acts 3)! Sin had seen much more miracles and could recall how it reduced to flesh, the life status in a generation of men after Adam (Gen. 6). Sin knew that the laws running man’s soul must be replaced for man to be truly healed; and anything less (bodily healing etc.) was a “repair work” which could still be undone (Matt. 12:43-45/Jn. 5:14).
Sin knew that the eyes of Peter and John the apostle were not yet adequately enlightened, because fallen spirits know when they lose captives of blindness; they know when a believer isn’t holding the true light. Sin knew that an aspect of the remission of sins had not yet taken place because spiritual understanding (Mk. 4:12/1Jn. 5:2:20) from the throne was yet to pierce through the air – into their souls, like it did in the days of Daniel and Jesus (Dan. 10:11-12)
Sin also knew that shortly after Pentecost, heaven hadn’t raised any of the apostles to withstand the trinity of the world (the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of life); howbeit withstand the wicked one (1Jn. 2:13-14/5:18) like Jesus did for the first time. Sin must have smiled, knowing fully well that his reign remained and his working was still mysterious to heavily anointed apostles – whose eyes still needed to be anointed with eye salve to discern him.
Sin had seen great men from the Old Testament despise everything it presented and represented; men like Moses who hindered its reign in their day (Rom. 5:14/Heb. 3:2), men whose faith walk made sin unpopular (Heb. 11:4-38). But despite all of these, sin knew none of all those exploits translated to being overcome! Sin can still recall that the first man to overcome him did so only after decades of consistent downloads of a peculiar kind of light from the throne.
Ever since then, sin has read various headlines of its capture, and of victory over him by believers who haven’t been taught and trained like God did with Jesus and his apostles, and must have mocked. SIN LIKES TO HEAR SPIRITUALLY LOCAL SONGS LIKE, “SATAN DON FALL FOR GROUND OH, MATCH AM MATCH AM”, AND LIKES TO DANCE WITH SUCH FOLKS!
Sin likes to hear sermons from men that haven’t received a higher law/testament to that of sin; men that substitute the manifestations and blessings of Old Testament for that of the New Testament. Sin likes to hear men claim victory over it by confessing and claiming scriptures on grace while doing nothing tangible that would ensure the finished work of Christ become a reality/walk in them. Sin likes to see those who aren’t rooted, built up in him and stablished in the faith – believe they are!
Like sin hijacked and used the Law of Moses (Rom. 7:8-11), so has it hijacked and handled the excesses of various messages in the church till date; including a spiritually legitimate new creation reality message. None of the biblical messages that came before the unveiling of the Faith of Christ could actually discern sin – in its true color, complexity and essence! These exploits and teachings (Heb. 6:1-2) gave the church a foundation via its principles also called the apostles doctrine – but that doesn’t translate to the pillar or truth (1Tim. 3:15/Gal. 2:9/Rev. 3:12). Sin knows when the boundaries of these elementary principles of Christ are crossed, causes such to lose its potency and become another doctrine of men

- Gal. 2:9 And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars (i.e. they were not yet pillars of truth but already had a good measure of the name of the holy ghost; not of the Son & Father), perceived the grace that was given unto me…
So what is sin ignorant of? What does it really dread? 21st century motivational teachings, or that of genuine material prosperity and healing? No! Because none of these can drag sin out of its invincibility – like the actual preaching of Christ’s Faith does when consistently done over time! CHRIST IS THE LAW AND DOMINION OF GOD THAT CRUSHES AND HALTS THE DOMINION OF SIN WHEN SUCCESSFULLY INTRODUCED, TAUGHT IN A MANNER THAT ESTABLISHES (Rom. 16:25/Col. 2:7). SIN DREADS THE HIDDEN CIVILIZATION OF GOD’S FAITH – THAT ADAM FAILED TO LEARN AND ADVENTURE!
WHAT IS SIN? A LAW THAT CAN BE ACADEMICALLY OR INTELLECTUALLY UNDERSTOOD? NO! SIN IS AN ANGELIC PROBLEM; A MUTATED LAW OF A ONCE GLORIOUS CREATURE OF GOD (HEYEL) THAT NEVER KNEW THE CREATOR HAD AN UNKNOWN LIFE/SECRET (GOD’S POWER AND GLORY) BEFORE HIS FALL. WHEN UNVEILED, SIN REALISED IT WAS ACTUALLY A SLAVE OF TRUE HOLINESS AND RIGHTEOUSNESS!
Sin realized after the unveiling of Faith that there is actually only one gospel that promises to bring man to God, and so he invented what men call “another” (Gal. 1:6-7) to distract those available! Sin dreads any believer, congregation or generation that settles for that gospel that is meant to become an inheritance in the days of men’s flesh (Rom. 2:16/4:1/Heb. 5:7). Sin has seen how few believing believers who feasted on the vast amount of light surrounding the Faith and Love revealed in the New Testament were raised to become gods (Ps. 82:1/Jn. 10:34), and how they later handled judgments higher than that of the god of this world – and therefore lives in perpetual fear.
- Eze. 28:3 Behold, thou (the Prince of Tyrus – a mortal man that feasted on some secrets of sin) art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret (i.e. in the realm of darkness of light – secrets matter) that they can hide from thee:
Sin didn’t find the Prince of Tyrus faithful and wise enough to commit the full secrets of its workings, because he couldn’t live up to its murderous expectations – like the man of sin ultimately would (2Thes. 2:3-4). God found Jesus faithful and wise enough to commit every secret of life and immortality to him – because he lived up to the demands of faith and love commandment, and thereby inherited/became Eternal Life (1Jn. 5:11/20). So:
- By writing the epistles, the apostles documented sin’s biography because they had become pillars of truth; they were invincible to sin!
- By preaching the secrets of divine life contained in the epistles, the cross of Christ is magnified and sin is reduced to its true state – nothingness!
- By consistently doing so, the lure and law of sin loses its potency – and the dominion of the kingdom is gradually handed out to the saints for their perfection.
The Holy Spirit has been laboring to ensure the church consistently stays on Christ – because his doctrine (2Jn. 1:9) is inexhaustible and would remain in high demand in the world to come! This promises to get our known and unknown sins renounced (Ps. 19:13/90:8/2Cor. 4:2) and remitted (Matt. 26:28/Jn. 20:23/Acts. 26:18d/1Jn. 2:12); it also brings things that men seek at the expense of eternal life (Matt. 6:33/1Tim. 4:8b-d).
May our closet lives become compatible with the epistles of truth and may nations ultimately succeed in reading/interpreting eternal life from our earthly sojourn. Amen
