Another Look @ The Influence of Mammon — Part 3

  1. Mammon has lied to generations of believers via those thoughts and imaginations that don’t revolve around a future called Christ, the Father, and God. (2 Cor. 10:5, Col. 2:2)

And it has always caught up with those who seek to have an edge above others, rather than have an edge above wicked spirits. (3Jn. 1:9, Eph. 11-12)
  2. Our name can either be “made great” or “made popular,” by either God or mammon (Gen. 12:2, Matt. 6:24d)

If we can truly live by faith or a day at a time as Jesus did, we are on course to true greatness, and we would have our name in God’s Hall of Fame. If we do otherwise, we would come short of God’s greatness and also become unpopular or become popular in an earthly and quite corrupt manner. (Heb. 10:38, Lk. 10:20, Phil. 3:17-19)
  1. We need to add contentment to our godly formation, to subdue all thoughts that can come from unrighteous mammon; to overcome all the pull that can come from what money can do. (1Tim. 6:4-10, 1Cor. 6:12)

While doing so, we would be empowered not to take thoughts of our first life (gentilic cares around food, raiment, etc.), Christ would then become our life-dominant thought and source of contentment. His life would mean to us what money previously meant, and we can then be entrusted with the everlasting gospel that will empower us to hate the remaining expression of our life (iniquity) that we know little about. (Matt. 6:28-31, Heb. 19a)
  1. We can’t claim to have learned contentment if we haven’t been trained to be faithful with little; if we haven’t been taught how to selflessly hold and have money in ways that it doesn’t hold or have us. (1 Tim. 6:6, Matt. 25:21, 1Cor. 7:31).

Only by so doing would we be daily empowered to look down on the suggestion that unrighteous mammon (money) gives,  and only then can the true abundance called everlasting life be given to us, which in turn would make us wise enough to hate the god of mammon. (1Tim. 6:8-9, Jn. 10:10, Lk. 16:8-11).
  1. One of the things that believers—who have done faith, hope, and Charity—are still ignorant of is that there is a satisfaction or contentment that comes from having a good measure of everlasting life, which alone would guarantee that we can no longer covet anything but the glory of God and the Lamb. (1 Cor. 13:13, Ps. 90.14-16, Rev. 21:22)

God’s response to this today is to bring companies of faith-breed brethren (from the sanctuary of Christ) into the learning of the way everlasting; so they can take the thoughts (breath) of God and become true worshipers who strictly serve God; who can no longer offer service to mammon.
  1. Just like we need a name or new nature (Christ) to appear in person before the glory of the presence of the (everlasting) Father, so also, those who can personally have dealings with the father of lies must have become false Christs in the state (sanctuary) of their souls.(Psa. 16:11, 2Cor. 6:16, Rom. 13:12)

And such are those who have been unfaithful with unrighteous mammon; those who got corrupted when the devil stole and killed their soul to a place where it became receptive to death (destruction); those who will love the corruptible seed rather than the incorruptible seed – the divine truth. (Lk. 16:11, 1Tim. 6:9-10)
